The Charter Council has amongst its responsibilities, engaging with stakeholders to provide clarifications and issuing guidelines on matters related to the interpretation and implementation of the LSC.

Transformation of the legal profession requires collective commitment. The LSCC works with stakeholders to promote clarity and consistent application of the Legal Sector Code, strengthen accountability in legal services procurement, provide guidance and resources to measured entities, and ensure that transformation is inclusive and fair across South Africa.
